The News feature is a collection of various types of news you can get paid to read. You can find it in the Boosters tab's Quick Payout section or when you scroll down in the Music tab.
You can filter news articles by category by clicking on the little badges at the top of the feature (you can select multiple at once), and it will only show you news articles that match those categories.
